AGS is the West of Ireland’s leading scaffold company’s supply. We erect, insure and dismantle various types of scaffold to suit your needs. We also supply Light Mobile Access Towers for internal and external use. Since our establishment we have now progressed into formwork.

AGS have worked with some of Ireland’s foremost contractors to scaffold apartments, housing schemes, industrial units, office and retail complexes, church’s ec.

AGS can offer a specialised and comprehensive service to our customers with various access problems, where we can design, supply and erect scaffolding for new buildings, building refurbishment, building extensions, house building, sign installation and civil engineering.

 

All our work is fully Insured, 100% guaranteed and carried out by qualified personnel.

We are totally accident free to date.

WORKFORCE

 

We employ a workforce of 15 scaffolders, 2 Full Time Drivers + 2 Part time Drivers along with a Heath & Safety Officer, 2 clerical staff, and Manager.

We also have a substantial list of qualified personal we can call on in the event securing large contracts.

Our staff are members of SIPTU and fully paid up members of CWPS.

 

 

 

Transportation

 

We transport our own scaffold and formwork to the various sites on our own trucks.

 

 

Storage

 

AGS moved into our new state-of-the-art premises in June of 2007. We have an 11,000sq ft unit which includes office buildings and substantial warehouse space.

 

AGS SERVICE

 

Today’s construction marketplace is increasingly complex and presents tough challenges for us all having to reconcile the demand for increased productivity, reducing build times and maintenance cycles.

 

At AGS we tailor our services to meet our customers’ needs. For this reason we provide the following services and adapt to suit the situation:

 

Hire Only Service

 

With our scaffolding/Fencing hire service our customers can avail of our expertise to quantify the correct amount of scaffolding/fencing equipment required for a specific contract. We will then deliver directly to your site.

 

Hire & Erect Service

Supply and erection of all scaffolding equipment to the highest industry standards by our expertly trained team of professionals. With this service all work is 100% guaranteed and fully insured. We will endeavour to accommodate all onsite contractors within reason including roofers, plasterers, and block layers ect.

 

Erect Only Service (Labour)

 

This service caters for the developer who may already have a scaffolding project and need qualified scaffolders to erect, dismantle, maintain, or alter scaffolding. Also, in today’s climate of Health & Safety, developers may wish to avail of our professional reputation and proven track record.

 

We offer the developer/contractor the option of two different types of scaffolding systems:

 

Kwik Stage

 

This scaffold uses standard components to create an independent, sturdy and robust scaffold. Kwik – stage is at present the most common and preferred system used in Ireland today.

 

 

Tube and Fitting

 

For projects requiring a more flexible solution e.g. complex designs and shapes where standard sizes and lengths are not appropriate, the Tube and Fitting system is the preferred option.

 

 

Light Steel Temporary Secure Fencing

 

This fencing method allows an adaptable and secure method of fencing.

 

 

 

 

At AGS we ensure a quick response time to customer contracts with the availability of our large stock of scaffolding equipment at our depot.

We import our scaffold from India, which Carries the B.S. Certification and is certified for use within the E.U. We have approximately €2 million scaffold in stock which is all less than 2 years old, we also have approximately 50.000 boards in stock.

AGS Formwork Division

 

We have invested €500,000 in the last 6 month in the DOKA System Formwork. The DOKA System is the leading producer of formwork in the world. It is designed to give a state-of-the-art finish. Wall formwork, floor formwork….. whatever your formwork needs our team can deliver the right system and the most economical for each individual site.

 

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

 

Due to the nature of the construction industry, Health & Safety has emerged as one of the most important factors when undertaking a project. With AGS Scaffolding Services you can be assured of the highest standards in Health & Safety practice in accordance with current legislation.

 

This level of assurance is afforded to our customers due to our emphasis on employee training and standards of workmanship combined with an excellent Health & Safety policy. All our scaffolding equipment is manufactured to the highest standards and carries the B.S. Certification and is certified for use within the E.U.

 

We employ a Heath & Safety Officer to help us in our everyday Heath & Safety issues.

 

Our company is active in maintaining its stringent Health & Safety policy. Each employee actively maintains both their own and the health and safety of others in accordance with our company policy.

 

We provided our all staff with ongoing Heath & Safety Training which includes the following.

Advanced Scaffold Ticket, Level 1 Scaffold Ticket, Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Safety Riggers, MEWP, HIAB, ect.

 

We also provide Tool box talks on a weekly basis.
